Jersey City市议会之前就已经通过一个条例准备在全市范围内禁用一次性塑料袋，现在这个条例于昨天（2019年6月28号）生效了。
虽然这会给人的生活多少带来一些不便，但是为了保护环境，还是值得的。从国内过来的朋友都知道，虽然美国对绿水青山保护得很好，例如废气、污水排放都有严格的标准，但美国日常生活的方方面面资源浪费和一次性消费品的滥用其实是挺严重的。现在从虽然小到不起眼，但对环境力极强的一次性塑料袋入手，我觉得是非常必要的一步。
在世界范围内，已经有很多国家采取行动禁止或限制一次性塑料袋的使用。
并不是所有的一次性塑料袋都被禁用，例如超市里面放在蔬果区大家可以自己扯一个装菜的塑料袋、给狗装💩的塑料袋、糕点店装面包的塑料袋等等仍然可以继续使用。
